Obituary of Elizabeth Freihaut

FREIHAUT:  Peacefully, at Exeter Villa Nursing Home, Exeter, on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, Elizabeth “Liz” (Merli) Freihaut of Exeter, formerly of Shipka (RR 2, Dashwood), age 91.  Beloved wife of the late Johan “John” Freihaut (2006).  Loved mother and mother-in-law of John and Nancy Freihaut of Oakville, the late Mary Torok (2019).  Loving grandma of Sean Freihaut and his wife Jennifer Edwards, Erica Freihaut and her husband Guy Massie and Stephanie Torok.  Cherished great-grandma of Emily, Catherine, Lucy and Leo.  Dear sister and sister-in-law of Katie and Tony Penz, Frank and Janice Merli.  Remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families.  Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Teresa (Matiyevic) Merli, siblings and in-laws Teresa and Franz Sampli.  At Liz’s request, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 160 Francis Street, Exeter, on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 3 p.m.  For those unable to attend there will be a Zoom, to access the zoom call please use this code 925 867 0592; with the password 5265205  Arrangements entrusted to the T.
