Obituary of George Diamond

DIAMOND: Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at Exeter Villa, Friday, November 4, 2005, Ed Diamond, 86, of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, formerly of Orrville, Ont. Loved husband of May (White) Diamond of Grand Cove Estates. Loved father of Annice and Bob Tilley of Kirkland Lake, Sandra Bray of Grand Bend, Steve and Pat Diamond of Brechin. Loved by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and their families. Dear brother-in-law of Nan Diamond and nephew of Bertha Armstrong both of Toronto. Remembered also by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son-in-law Barry Bray, brothers Reg Diamond and infant brother Fred, parents George and Doris (Geh) Diamond. A Memorial Service will be held at Orrville United Church, Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 2 p.m. Interment Christie Memorial Cemetery, Orrville. If desired, memorial donations to the Orrville United Church or Lions Leader Dog Training of Ontario would be appreciated. Mr Diamond retired from the Ministry of Natural Resources, was a design and developer of Ontario Provincial Parks and served as a Parks Supervisor until his retirement. Ed was a long time member of Lions International and achieved 55 years of perfect attendance and served in all capacities of Lionism. T.
