GIBSON: Peacefully, at Stratford General Hospital, Friday, September 2, 2005, Aldrid Garfield “Garry” Gibson, of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, formerly of Wingham & Oshawa, age 81. Beloved husband of Ella Lorraine (Brophey) Gibson. Loved father and father-in-law of Darryl Gibson and his wife Brenda Bushell of Yokahama, Japan, Deborah Gibson-Dingwall and her husband Reid Dingwall of LaRonge, Saskatchewan, David and Colleen Gibson of Forest, Donald and Monika Gibson of St. Marys and Drew Gibson of Tokyo, Japan. Loving grandpa of Sonya and Chris, Nathan and Angela, Ashley, Garrett, Kyle, Kurtis, Keenan and great-grandpa of Caleb, Sonya and Nola. Dear brother of Bonnie MacDougall of Burlington and brother-in-law of Paul and Cathie Brophey of Port Huron, Inez and Cliff “Tip” Fraser of Forest, Archie Gibbs of Parkhill and Ron Brophey of Thedford. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by brother Crawford Gibson and his wife Bette, sister Lou Reffell and her husband Harry, sisters-in-law Jean Gibbs and Eva Brophey. Garry was Past Master of Forest Lodge No. 162 of Wroxeter and served with the RCAF during WWII.
