McCANN: Peacefully, at Stratford General Hospital, Friday, July 9, 2004, Lillian M. Sis” (Clarke) McCann, 83, of Crediton. Beloved wife of the late Joseph B. “Joe” McCann (March, 2004). Loved mother of Ruth Galloway and her husband Bob of Stratford. Loving grandma of Dan and Monika Galloway, Deb and Larry Nesbitt, Kim and Ken Nutt, Jeff and Shirley Galloway, Jodi and Mike Hillman. Also loved by 13 great-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Evelyn Hutchinson, Marie Dinney, Shirley Clarke, Russell Clarke, Howard and Jean Clarke, Donna Clarke, Margaret Clarke, Marlene Valender, Clem and Joan McCann, Leona Glavin, and Don Hartman. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by great-granddaughter Kari Nutt, brothers Ross Clarke, Jim Clarke, chosen brother Ed Valender, Roy Clarke, brothers-in-law Arthur Hutchinson, Donald Dinney, sisters-in-law Audrey Clarke, Eileen Gelinas, Evelyn McKeever, Alice Hartman, parents Margaret “Maggie” (Pfaff) and Henry Clarke. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood (519-237-3532), with visitation Monday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers Monday evening at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Mount Carmel, Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Father Ray Lawhead Celebrant. Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery.
