Obituary of William Roy Gibson

GIBSON: Suddenly, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Saturday, November 8, 2003, Wm. Roy Gibson, of Crediton, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Audrey (Keller) Gibson. Loved father of David Gibson of Crediton, Larry and Sharon Gibson, Garry and Joanne Gibson all of Centralia, Brad and Jane Gibson of Edmonton, Mark Gibson and companion Nancy of Crediton. Loving grandpa of Jeff, Chris, Samantha and Neil, John, Jeanette and Jim, Peter, Tina and Christien, Brent and Angela, Ryan, Zachary, Ian and great-grandpa of Kyle and Merrick. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Albert Gibson, Phyllis Williams, Mabel and Elgin Keller all of London, Fred and Mary Gibson of Shipka, Roland and Marlene Gibson of Denfield. Fondly remembered by the Keller families and many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his sister Evelyn Gibson (1961), 3 grandsons in infancy, parents William and Dora (Lewis) Gibson. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Monday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Dashwood, Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at 11:15 a.m. The Rev. John E. Trembulak III officiating. Interment Zion Lutheran Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Zion Lutheran Church or charity of choice would be appreciated. Roy was active within his Church and community and was retired from the O.D.C., Huron Park and Canadian Westinghouse, London.
