Obituary of William Blake Schade
SCHADE: Suddenly, on Friday, June 13, 2003, William Blake “Bill” Schade, of R.R.#3 Dashwood, and his Bruce Peninsula residence at Stokes Bay, in his 56th year. Beloved husband of Anne M. (Webb) Schade. Loved father of Karen Schade of Dashwood, Christine and Ernie McArthur of Stokes Bay, Blake Schade and companion Sheri Shaw of London. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Jack and Nile Schade of R. R. #2, Dashwood, Ruth Witherspoon of Grand Bend, Carole and Bob Park of R. R. #4, Parkhill and Doris Wragg of Dashwood. Special son-in-law of Glenn and Doreen Webb of R. R. #2, Dashwood. Also loved and remembered by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and their families. Predeceased by his parents Erwin and Greta (Horner) Schade, brothers-in-law Carl Witherspoon, Joseph Wragg and his great-nephew David William Daters. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood with visitation on Sunday afternoon and evening. Lebanon Forest Lodge No. 133, Exeter, will hold a service at the Funeral Home, Sunday at 6:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Zurich, on Monday, June 16, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Robert Hutchison assisted by Mr. Bob Heywood officiating. Interment Emmanuel United Church Cemetery, Zurich. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lupus Foundation or charity of choice would be appreciated. Bill was active in his community with Friedsburg Days, Dashwood Tigers Baseball and the B. S. Golf Classic.
