Obituary of Pearl Marjory Wood
WOOD: Peacefully, at Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall, on Tuesday, October 29, 2002, Pearl Marjory (Farghar) Wood, formerly of Exeter and Grand Bend, in her 84th year. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Rita and Gordon Bandy of Arnprior, Myrtle “Birdie” and Murton Desjardine of Tiverton, Ella and Willis Desjardine of R. R. #2, Dashwood, Noel and Walter Westlake of Hensall, Cecil Wood, Grace Cooper and companion Ron Caldwell all of R. R. #1, Hay, Jim and Marg Wood of Mississauga, Linda and Harvey Craig of High River, Alberta, Kalvin and Diane Wood of St. Catharines. Also remembered by her brother Pete Freeman of Sault Ste. Marie, son-in-law Herb Broom, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her daughters Shirley (Dawe) Broom, Edna MacDonald, sons-in-law Edward “Ted” MacDonald, Doug Dawe, brothers and sister Stafford Farghar, Eva Bullard, Les Farghar, Lant Freeman and Alan Freeman. Cremation. A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of God, Grand Bend, on Saturday, November 2, 2002 at 11 a.m. Pastors Art and Evelyn Krueger officiating. If desired, memorial donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
