Obituary of Helen Rosemarie Clarkin

CLARKIN: Surrounded by her loved ones, at her daughter’s residence, Oakwood Park, Grand Bend, Ontario, Canada, on Saturday, December 29, 2001, Helen “Lola” Rosemarie (Faller) Clarkin, a longtime resident of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away in her 96th year. She was the beloved wife of the late John Paul Clarkin (1989), loved mother and mother-in-law of Valorie Clarkin Scatcherd and her husband David of Oakwood Park, Grand Bend, Dr. John P. Clarkin of Vancouver, Washington, USA and Robert Allan Clarkin of Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, the loving grandmother of Brent Christopher Clarkin, Cristin Clarkin Leeper, Tracey Marie Clarkin, Shawn Patrick Clarkin, John Paul Clarkin, John Labatt Scatcherd, Megan Clarkin O’Neill, Colin Campbell Scatcherd and Helene Marie Scatcherd Bushnell and great-grandmother of Kyle, Kevin, Sean, Cambria and Trent. Helen rested at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, Ontario, where an Ecumenical Prayer Service for family and friends was conducted by The Rev. Father Paul J. Beck, on Tuesday, January 8, 2002 at 6 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel, Honolulu, Hawaii on Tuesday, January 15, 2002 at 11 A.M. The Rev. Father Keahi Officiating. Interment at Diamond Head Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to South Huron Hospital Association “Geriatric Chair Fund” Exeter would be appreciated.
