Just came across this.....Chef Marcel,as we called him....never a better man to be respected....what he taught me as well as countless other young chefs no one ever could repay....quite a man....loved this guy......he watched over me always and made sure I had the right stuff...its funny that we were both in the navy,and the first ship I ever was on was the very one that he was last on....a war hero at D_DAY......Im retired now 10 years,but often flash back to the good old days at the Royal York.....yes he will be missed and so he should be....Ill see him on the other side...Thank You so much for this .....LOL..
