Obituary of Caroline Elizabeth Russell

RUSSELL: Suddenly, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Saturday, June 23, 2001, Caroline “Carrie” Elizabeth (Martene) Russell of Exeter, formerly of Hay Township, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Wm. Homer Russell (1977). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Jane Elizabeth Russell of Exeter and William and Linda Russell of R. R. #1, Exeter. Loving Nana of Jayden and Tristalyn. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Edna Swain of London, Mildred and Elvin Bearss of Port Colborne, Anthony and Shirley Martene of R. R. #2, Crediton, Florence Martine of Dashwood, Joan and Don McFadden of Chesley, Audrey and Don Joynt of Southampton. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her sister Martha Weigand, brothers Joseph and Charles Martine. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Monday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.; where the Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2001 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Carrie was a 50 year Veteran of Pride of Huron Rebekah Lodge, Exeter. A Rebekah Service will be held Monday evening at 6:45.
