Obituary of Jean Moffat Palframan
PALFRAMAN: Peacefully at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Friday, June 2, 2000, Jean Moffat (Calder) Palframan, recently of Country Manor Retirement Home, Thedford and formerly of Southcott Pines, Grand Bend, in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Ross W. Palframan. Loved mother of Read and Shelly Palframan of Guelph, Vince Palframan of R.R. #1, Brantford and dear friend Patti McCarthy. Loving grandma of Jason and Allison Palframan. Dear sister of Margaret Calder of Palmerston. Predeceased by her parents William and Jane (Ivel) Calder. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Sunday afternoon and evening; where the Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2000 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Robert Putman officiating. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Guelph. Memorial donations to South Huron Hospital, Cancer Society or charity of choice would be appreciated. Jean graduated as a Registered Nurse at Hamilton General Hospital in 1948 followed by positions at Palmerston Hospital, Sarnia General Hospital, Brantford General Hospital, Mississauga General Hospital and South Huron Hospital, Exeter, retiring in 1990 as Nursing Supervisor. Jean will always be remembered as a caring and dedicated nurse.
