Obituary of Milton Earl Glendenning
GLENDENNING: Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Care, London on Sunday April 9, 2000, Milton Earl Glendenning of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, formerly of Hamilton in his 78th year. Much loved husband and best friend of Vi (Booker) Glendenning. Loved father of Judy and Gene Jones of Carlisle, Janet and Randy Levy of Hamilton. Loving grandfather of Jennifer and Glenn Emerson, Cindy and Scott Somerville and great-grandfather of Brent, Taylor and Emily. Also survived by brother Murray Glendenning and sister Andrea Lucas both of Hamilton, predeceased by brother Ernest Glendenning. Visitation at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, Monday afternoon and evening where the Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday April 11, 2000 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Robert Putman officiating. Interment Grand Bend Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Lung Association, Lupus Society or charity of choice would be appreciated. Mr. Glendenning served with the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II. Milt was a former employee of Stelco-Hilton of Hamilton, retiring in 1981.
