BROADFOOT, Mr. Beverly Weston “Bev” of Grand Bend. Peacefully at his residence on Thursday, March 12, 2015, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Helen (Jordan) Broadfoot. Loved father of Michael and wife Rita of Woodstock, Jane of Toronto, Lisa and husband Grant Pye of Toronto. Loved grandpa of Dexter, David and wife Cassie. Great-grandpa of Addison, Aiden and Ella. Brother of Les and wife Dianne of Stratford, brother-in-law of Evelyn Aicken of Mitchell, Muriel “Mert” McMahon of Innerkip, Bruce Douglas and wife Lela of Calgary, AB. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Wilmer “Bill” (1975) and Grace (Dick) (2002), brother James A. (2001), and wife Sheila (Riddell) (1976), father-in-law Frank Jordan (1992) and mother-in-law Dorothy (Douglas) (2011), brother-in-law Jim Aicken (2012). Bev retired from Bell Canada after 36 years of service, having worked in various locations including London, Tillsonburg, Clinton, Woodstock, Guelph and Kitchener. A member of the Telephone Pioneers, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 498, Grand Bend, Past President of Southcott Pines Park Association. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation on Sunday, March 15, 2015, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 3 p.m.. Rev. Kate Crawford Officiating. Spring Interment Maitland Bank Cemetery, Seaforth. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
