BACON: Peacefully and unexpectedly, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Saturday, October 25, 2014, Mildred “Millie” Doris (Moulton) (Brown) Bacon of Exeter, (1929-2014) age 85. Beloved wife of Ronald “Ron” E. Bacon. Predeceased by her first husband Stanley B. Brown and her only daughter Debra Lynn Brown (1958-1976). Loved mother of William Gary Brown (Barb) of Windsor and loving grandmother of Gary Brown Jr. Dear sister of Velma Ann Hensel (John) of St. Marys. Millie will be remembered by her many devoted nieces, nephews & their families, Michael Hensel (Shelley) of Collingwood, Karen Voisin (Jim) of Heidelburg, David Hensel (Leanne) of St. Marys, Lori Sparringa (Ingo) of Woodstock, Susan Stacey (Jim) of St Marys, Thomas Moulton (Pam) and Andy Moulton (Bev) all of Ridgetown, her step-children Arliss Charrett and Darrell Bacon both of Windsor, Andrea McLeod (Dan) of Blind River and Darcy Bacon of Kitchener, she will be missed by her beloved dogs Chloe, Ben and feline Lucky. Predeceased by her brother Walter George Moulton (1980), Parents William George Moulton (1962) and Violet Helen (West) Moulton (1976). Resting at T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home , Dashwood, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 11 a.m. Rev. Harry Disher Officiating. Interment in Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. Millie previously lived in Grand Bend, Windsor, Stoney Point and Clawson Michigan where she owned and operated D&M Drs. Exchange in Royal Oak Mi. for many years and was a long time member of the Beta Sigma Phi in Chatham. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to MADD Canada – Mothers Against Drunk Driving or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
