Obituary of Ruth Victoria Weber

WEBER: Peacefully, with the knowledge of going home to her Lord and Saviour, at Blue Water Rest Home, Zurich, Thursday, January 9, 2014, Ruth Victoria Weber, formerly of Red Deer, Alberta, age 103. Dear sister of Edith Carr of St. Jacobs, lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Daniel and Mabel (Battler) Weber, brothers Ralph, Walter and Keith Weber, sisters Gladys Schade and Thelma Weber. Ruth resided in Red Deer, Alberta for a number of years; where many of her fellow congregation members “adopted” her into their families and called her “Grandma Ruth”. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2014 followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Mr. Bob Heywood officiating. Spring Interment Calvary United Church Cemetery, Dashwood.
