DeKORT: Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Thursday, August 15, 2013, Aloysius “Louis” Cornelius DeKort, of Exeter, recently of Chateau Gardens, Parkhill, age 80. Beloved husband of the late Maria Adriana (Vanden Bygaart) DeKort (2010). Loved father and father-in-law of Angela and Joe Donnelly of RR 4, Thamesford, Wilf and Barb DeKort of RR 3, Parkhill. Loving Opa of Rebecca Donnelly, Patrick Donnelly, Tara DeKort, Tom McArthur and Catherine Langford. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Rieka Bertens, Lucy and John VanHaaren, Annie and Gerry Bertens, Ann deKort, Tiny Bertens, Leo and Zus Vankastren, Piet and Nell deKort, Rien and Ria deKort, Loved by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his son Jeffrey John DeKort (2004), daughter Eileen Henrietta DeKort (2010), brothers Adrian deKort, Jan deKort, sister Jo deKort and brothers-in-law Frank Bertens and Jos Bertens. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Sunday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Parish and family prayers at the Funeral Home Sunday at 3:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church, 200 Sanders St. W., Exeter, Monday, August 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. The Rev.
