Obituary of Ninia Madeline Kraft

KRAFT: It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Ninia Madeline (Smith) (Wein) Kraft, formerly of Grand Bend and Dashwood, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Saturday, July 27th, 2013, in her 96th year. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Bill Kraft and his wife Vicki, Robin McDonald and her husband Richard, loving grandmother of Mike Kraft, Jennifer Kraft (Arthur), Kristen McDonald, Curtis McDonald, Jeff Kelders (Cassie) and Matt Kelders. Loved by her great-grandchildren Ella, Sophie, Seth, Leah and also remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her husbands Gordon Kraft (2004) and Wally Wein (1961), siblings Sanforetta, Jennette, Gladys, Esther, Robert, John, Eric, Chrystal and her parents Sanford and Jennette (Elliott) Smith. Ninia was a very kind and caring person and will be sadly missed by her family, friends and by the many people whose lives she touched. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Exeter Villa. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation on Wednesday, from 5 to 9 p.m.; where the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 1st, 2013 at 11 a.m. Pastor John E. Trembulak III officiating. Interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations to Zion Lutheran Church or charity of choice would be appreciated. Ninia was a farmer, entrepreneur and served as treasurer on the Dashwood Medical Centre Board for many years.
