DAVIS: Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Monday, July 8, 2013, Elizabeth “Libbie” Esther (Tatham) Davis, of Oakwood Links, Grand Bend, age 82. Beloved wife of Ian Davis. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Bradley and Patti Davis of Forest, Leslie and Peter Kincaid of North Bay, Scott and Sue Davis of Grand Bend. Loving grandma of Ainsley, Kristen, Allison and Mark, Kaitlyn, Brandon and Alex. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Charlie and Millie Tatham of Powell River, BC, Margaret Lumsden of Canmore AB, Sid Tatham of Woodstock, Dr. Ruth Tatham of Guelph, Mev and Sandy Davis of Sarnia, Mary and Don McPhail of Sarasota, FL. Remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her brother George Tatham, sister Ellen Tatham, brother-in-law Bill Lumsden, sister-in-law Marnie Tatham, parents Charles and Anna (Murray) Tatham. At Libbie’s request, cremation has taken place. A Time of Sharing will be held in the Terrace Room at Oakwood Inn Resort, Grand Bend, Sunday, July 14, 2013 commencing at 10 a.m. followed by the Service at 11 a.m. The Rev. Margaret Murray (cousin) officiating. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Lung Association or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Libbie enjoyed her role as a Registered Nurse and practiced in many hospitals from Banff, New Westminster, Montreal to Sarnia. Libbie found her chosen career when she and her sister-in-law Mary McPhail opened Baskin Robbins in Grand Bend and ran it successfully for many years. Her highlight was the delivery of new ice cream flavours every week. She also enjoyed her ladies golf at Oakwood and her weekly bridge games with her buds. T.
