Obituary of Philip John William Widdis

WIDDIS: Unexpectedly, but peacefully, at his residence, Tuesday, October 16, 2012, Philip “Phil” John William Widdis, of Grand Bend, age 58. Loved father of Jake Widdis and fiancee Tracy Harris of Shipka, Eric Widdis of Kelowna, BC, Amanda Widdis and companion Jamie Bibby of Sarnia, Rhys Widdis of Toronto and remembered also by their mother Kim (Gannaway) Widdis of England. Loving papa of Saije Widdis and Cameron Widdis. Beloved son of Elsie (Lobban) Widdis of Brantford and the late Thomas Widdis. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Margaret and Ken Burrows of Orangeville, Andrew and Shelley Widdis of Waterloo, Geoffrey Widdis (deceased) and Sue Widdis of Brantford. Remembered by his nieces, nephews, their families and his dear close friend Donna Wilson of Hanover. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Saturday, October 20, 2012 commencing at 1:00 p.m. followed by the sharing of memories at 2:30 p.m. At Phil’s request cremation will take place.
