Obituary of Kenneth Mervin Pickering
PICKERING: Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Sunday April 3, 2011, Kenneth “Ken” Mervin Pickering of Chateau Gardens Nursing Home Parkhill formerly of (Shipka) RR 2, Dashwood, age 74. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Rena and Orville Truemner of Exeter, Grace and Valere Denomme of Arva, Marilyn Rock of Parkhill, Leonard and Judith Pickering of London, Marilyn Pickering of Shipka, Bertha Pickering of Parkhill, Lawrence Scott of RR 2 Dashwood, Joyce Elder of London, Karen Pickering of Ingersoll, Cathy Pickering of Hyde Park and Will Coeck of London. Remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses, Eva and Bruce Taylor, Iva and William Latta, Hazel Scott, Betty Coeck, Willis Rock, Ross and Evelyn Pickering, Earl, Jack, Harvey, Glen, Don and Jim Pickering, parents Elmer and Martha (Baynham) Pickering. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Tuesday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.; where the Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 11 a.m. Mr. Bob Heywood officiating. Interment Grand Bend Cemetery. Ken’s siblings would like to express their sincere thanks to his nephew Justin for his constant care and companionship and the nursing staff at Chateau Gardens.
