Obituary of David Clarence Haycock
HAYCOCK; Peacefully at Hornepayne Community Hospital, David Clarence Haycock of Hornepayne, formerly of Port Frank's. Age 72 surrounded by the love of his family, on 29 July 2024. Beloved Husband of the late Janet "Lady" Elizabeth (Mavity) Haycock (2003). Loved father and father in-law of Amanda Hixson of London and Amy and Steeve Tremblay of Hornepayne. Loved Grandpa of Scott Hixson and Victoria Tremblay. Loved brother of Brian and Kathy Haycock of Port Stanley and Linda Drennan of London. Predeceased by infant granddaughter Savannah Hixson, his son in-law James Hixson, brother in-law Bob Drennan, special friend Electa Read, parents George and Marg Haycock and in-laws Jack and Liz Mavity. At David's request cremation has taken place and a graveside service for family and friends will be held at the Pinery Cemetery, Grand Bend on August. 25, 2024 at 1 pm. The Rev. Christine O'Reilly officiating. A celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #194, Sixth Ave Hornepayne, on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 1 to 4 p.m. David was a long time employee of CN Rail. He really enjoyed spending time with family and many friends especially his 2 grandchildren Scott and Victoria. If desired memorial donations to the Tamarack House, Thunder Bay Ontario, Hornepayne Community Hospital or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by family. T.
