Obituary of John Wayne Gale

GALE:  Unexpectedly but peacefully, at London Health Sciences Centre – University Hospital, London, on Thursday, April 20, 2023, John “Jack” Wayne Gale of Crediton, formerly of London, age 80.  Beloved husband of Darlene Elaine (Caughlin) Gale and the late E. Lorraine (Charlton) Gale (1982).  Step-father of Shawn Palmatier (Cheryl Beltz) of London and Shayne Palmatier of Strathroy.  Grandpa of Quentin Stubbs (Paige) of Atlanta, Georgia, Tyler Beltz (Makayla Black) of London.  Great-grandpa of August, Brinley, Benny and one on the way.  Dear brother-in-law of Betty Gale of London.  Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families.  Predeceased by his parents Reginald Clifford and Evelyn Evangeline (Butcher) Gale, brother William Gale, brother-in-law Wayne Caughlin, father-in-law and mother-in-law Cyril and Helen (Wolfe) Caughlin.  At Jack’s request, cremation has taken place.  A Graveside Service will be held in the family plot at Mount Brydges Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood.  Jack was a former employee of White Supply and University of Western Ontario, London.  If desired, memorial donations (payable direct) to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
