Obituary of Leonard Henry Cowan

COWAN:  Peacefully at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy, on Sunday, November 29, 2020, Leonard “Len” Henry Cowan of Grand Bend, formerly of Chesley Lake and London, age 88.  Beloved husband of Wilma Minlue Anne (Walters) Cowan of Grand Bend. Loved father and father-in-law of Crystal and Randy Bender of Grand Bend and Tony and Sue Cowan of Aylmer.  Cherished grandpa of Mallory MacDonald, Daniel and Stephanie MacDonald, Sara and Nigel Carruthers, Emily Cowan, Adam Cowan and Brian Cowan.  Treasured great-grandpa of MacKenna Carruthers and Salomé Cowan.  Dear brother-in-law of June Laird, Sandra and Lee Vandongen and Judy Kjos.  Len will be remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families.  At Len's request, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held.  After 38 years of working at Kellogg’s Len retired and enjoyed travelling between Chesley Lake and Florida where his love of golf flourished.  Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood.  If desired, memorial donation (payable directly) to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
