Obituary of Vera Guenther
GUENTHER: Suddenly but peacefully, at the Exeter Villa Nursing Home, Exeter, on Monday, November 16, 2020, Vera (Oesch) Guenther of Exeter formerly of Dashwood, age 92. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd “Sam” Earl Guenther (1995). Best Mom and Mother-in-Law of Jack Guenther of Kirkton, Jim and Mhairi Guenther of Kincardine, Betty and Joe O’Rourke of Atwood, Barb Van Gorp of London, Barb Oesch of Dashwood and Ed Van Gorp of Thedford. Fondly remembered by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and their families. Dear sister-in-law of Ruth Walper of Burlington, also remembered by one of her many special friends Nancy Rader. Predeceased by her parents David and Veronica “Fanny” (Gascho) Oesch, son Robert “Bob” Ellis Oesch, siblings and in-laws Laureen and Clarence “Barney” Diebel, Violet and Alvin Rader, Vernon and Madge Oesch, Carl and Miriam Oesch, Glen Walper, Ross and Pauline Guenther, Shirley and Elgin Kipfer, Ray and Jean Anne Guenther. Our mother was a kind, compassionate, caring woman and anyone who ever met her would attest to that. A private family funeral will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood on Saturday, November 21, 2020. Interment Exeter Cemetery. The family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation for the care and compassion shown to Vera while she was at the Queensway Retirement Home, Hensall, the Exeter Villa Nursing Home, Exeter and Dr. Lam.
