LOVE: “Grandpa Jim”, who was cherished by many for his warm hugs, memorable laugh, and beautiful woodworking, peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his family, at Jessica’s House Residential Hospice, Exeter on Friday, July 31, 2020. In his 90th year, Jim Love of Grand Bend will be together again with his beloved “Margie” – Mary Margaret (Cann) Love (2019). Loved father and father-in-law of Ginger and Bill Weber, Debbie and Wayne Riddell all of Grand Bend, John and Joan Love of Harpley, Patti and Mark Diamond of Oakville. Cherished grandpa of Julie and Andrew Hern of Grand Bend, Jacob and Amy Weber of Little Britain, Janna-Lynn and Sean Dupree of Waltham, MA, Jason and Sarah Riddell of Guelph, Jaci and Jeff Bennett of Breslau, Tom Love of Harpley, Charlie Love and Andrew Macinnes of Victoria, British Columbia, Conrad and Jasmine Love, Ava Diamond and Griffin Diamond both of Oakville. Treasured great-grandpa of Stella Hern, Archie Hern, Emily Weber, Liam Weber, Alexis Dupree, Quinn Dupree, Wrenley Riddell, Atom Love, Carter Love, and great-granddogs Jynx, Higgins, Roxie and Buddy. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Ruth Whiting, Helen DesJardine, J. Alex and Margie Love, Jean Hodgert, Jack and Mary Cann, Ray and Alice Cann. Predeceased by his parents William Hugh and Florence Mae (Gill) Love, brothers-in-law Ellison Whiting, Bill Sturdevant, Emerson DesJardine, Reg Hodgert and sister-in-law Cathy Love. A Private Family Funeral Service was held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. Cremation to follow. Interment Grand Bend Cemetery, at a later date.
