Obituary of Esther Myrel Warner
WARNER: Peacefully, after a courageous struggle with dementia and strokes, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Strathroy, surrounded by the love of her husband, on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, Esther Myrel (Turnbull) Warner, of Grand Bend, age 81. Beloved wife and best friend of Peter Andrew Warner for 53 years. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Mary and Timothy Kember of Picton, Eric and Betty Turnbull of Grand Bend, Carl and Lois Turnbull of Dashwood, Ross and Nancy Turnbull of Spring Hill, Florida, Paul and Marg Turnbull of Grand Bend and Alec and Marlene Turnbull of Grand Bend, Keith and Muriel Warner of St. Lazare, Quebec, Patricia Bartuce of St. Louis, Missouri. Remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents William Fergus and Hilda Idella (Ireland) Turnbull, infant sister Edith Turnbull, brother Alan Turnbull and sister-in-law Carole Turnbull. At Esther’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her Life will be held at the St. John’s By-the-Lake Anglican Church, Grand Bend on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Jim Innes and The Rev. Grayhame Bowcott officiating. Interment Grand Bend Cemetery. Esther was a charter member of the Grand Bend Lions Club and she was a 40 year member of St. John’s By-the-Lake Anglican Alter Guild. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to one of the following youth summer camps, Forest Cliff Camp, Huron Church Camp or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
