Obituary of Thomas Raymond Barry
BARRY: Peacefully, after a courageous battle, surrounded by the love of his family, at his residence, on Friday, May 3, 2019, Thomas “Tom” Raymond Barry (Gunner), of London, age 55. Beloved husband of Sandy Jean Demelo-Barry. Loved by his sister Jan Barry-Barnes (Brad). Forever loved nephew of Carol Willis and Ronald Barry (Marilyn). Loved step-father of Nicholas Demelo, Chantell Lamb (Adam) and Christopher Demelo. Cherished step-grandpa of Maria Demelo, Davina Demelo, Harmony Lamb and Scarlett Lamb. Brother-in-law of Dave Finn (Darlene), Ann Scott (Cam), Tina Klassen (Dave), Melody Tomasetig (Rob), Veronica Terracina (Tony). Tom will be fondly remembered by his mother-in-law Betty Lyon, dear friends (brother and sister from another mother and father) Paul and Shelley McInnis, and his many lifelong loving friends, nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Phillip “Bert” and Audrey (Amos) Barry, brother-in-law John Stewart and father-in-law Ron Lyon. At Tom’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Tom’s Life will be held at Royal Canadian Legion, Victory Branch 317, 311 Oakland Ave., London, on Sunday, May 26, 2019, from 2 to 5 p.m. Interment Goshen Line Calvary Cemetery, Dashwood, at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. Tom was a long time employee and the Lot Coordinator at Toyota Town in London. If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to London Health Sciences Centre – Cancer Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
