Obituary of Norma Irene Walper

WALPER:  Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, Norma Irene (Jennison) (Desjardine) Walper, of Grand Bend, age 96.  Beloved wife of the late Iray Desjardine (1977) and the late Lloyd Walper (2012).  Loved mother and mother-in-law of Mona and Dave Hunt of Winnipeg, MB, the late Jim (2011) and Judy Desjardine of London, the late Marci Mylan (2018), Nancy and John Pritchard of Parksville, BC, Mark and Angie Desjardine of Centralia.  Cherished grandma of Syndi Unrau, Dan and Sharon Stimpson, Steve and Monica Desjardine, Tom Mylan and Annaliese Griffin, Nathan Pritchard and Gwen Campden, Dave Desjardine, Michelle and Tyler Robinson.  Treasured great-grandma of Matthew Swann, Robin Stimpson, Lila Desjardine, Kale Desjardine, Lester Mylan, Olive Mylan, Madelyn Desjardine and Elizabeth Robinson.  Fondly remembered by her step-son Don Walper of Dashwood and his family.  Dear sister and sister-in-law of Ruby and Bruce Stanlake of Grand Bend.  Remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families.  Predeceased by her parents William Francis and Myrel (Ireland) Jennison, sisters Pearl and Chester Desjardine, Ethel and Emerson Desjardine, brothers Lee and Dorothy Jennison and Bob and Eveleen Jennison.  Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 3 to 7 p.m., where the Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 11 a.m.  Pastor Doug Watson Officiating.  Spring Interment Grand Bend Cemetery.  If desired, memorial donations (payable by cheque) to the Pinery Baptist Church or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
