Obituary of Patricia "Pat" Anne Melanson

MELANSON: Peacefully, surrounded with the love of her family, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Saturday, November 3, 2018, Patricia “Pat” Anne (Grondin) (Macdonald) Melanson of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, formerly of Chatham and Florida, age 79. Beloved wife of the late Edmond “Ted” Basil Melanson (2013).  Loved mother and mother-in-law of Susan Macdonald and partner Nancy Petrie of Grand Bend, Lynn Macdonald of Chatham, Elaine and Roy Daye of Toronto. Pat will be remembered by Ted’s family Kerrie Melanson, Kelly Melanson, Craig Melanson all of Sarnia and Heather and Fabian Zuniga of Strathroy. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Macdonald, Chelsea Sitter, Matthew Sitter, great-granddaughters Audrina Sitter, Anastasia Sitter and great-grandson Jericho Sitter, Joshua and Joey Crawford, Katie, Alex, Hannah and Noah Zuniga. Pat will be fondly remembered by her dear friend Jack Durr.  She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Marjorie (Cook) Grondin, sister Sylvia Goboel and brothers Blaize and Dale Grondin. At Pat’s request cremation will take place with a private family remembrance.  T.
