Obituary of Wilma "Billie" Joan Cassidy

CASSIDY: Wilma "Billie" Joan (Train) Cassidy, aged 88 of Ancaster, Ontario, formerly of Grand Bend and Toronto, died peacefully on March 27, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Healthcare in Hamilton. She was born on May 15, 1928 in Hamilton Ontario to Percival Horace and Jessie Ann (Patterson) Train. Billie is survived by her children Dr. J. David (Dr. Terri Skjaveland) and Joanne (Dr. Bruce Menchions), grandson Jesse Page (Siobhan), great granddaughter Lily Moon Page and granddaughters Alexandra and Tania Stroback. She was also loved by her nieces, nephews and their families. Billie was preceded in death by her loving husband Dr. H. Joseph Cassidy (2002). At Billie's request, cremation with a family and friends gathering will take place at the Pinery Cemetery, Grand Bend, on Sunday May 7, 2017 at 1 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to T. Harry Hoffman and Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, ON. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to a charity of your choice.
