WATSON: Peacefully, at home, Monday, January 28, 2008, surrounded by the love of his family, Paul Joseph Watson, of RR 1, Dashwood, age 69. Beloved husband of Angela Marie (LaPorte) Watson for 46 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Robert and Shannon Watson of RR 1, Dashwood, Mary and Al Nigh of Seaforth, Joanne and Stephen Morrissey of RR 2, Crediton, Chris Watson and Kellie Davis of London and the late Stephen Watson (1986). Loving Poppa of Ryan, Rachel, Katie, Brittany, Matthew, Jacob, Luke, Adam, Cara, Megan, Chantel, Justine and Deven. Loved son of William “Bill” Watson of Zurich and the late Anna Marie (Farwell) Watson (2004). Dear brother and brother-in-law of John and Janet Watson of London, George Watson of Exeter, Jerome and Penny Watson of RR 3, Zurich, Charlie and Marie LaPorte, Sister Bernadette LaPorte all of London, Tony and Cathy LaPorte of RR 2, Zurich, Leo and Bridget Overholt of London, Tony and Marie Denomme of Goderich, John and Lil LaPorte of RR 2, Zurich, Isidore and Paula LaPorte of Zurich, Phil and Patty LaPorte of RR 2, Zurich. Remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his in-laws Noel and Rena (Ducharme) LaPorte, sisters-in-law Rachelle (Forcier) LaPorte and Mary (Dalton) LaPorte. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Thursday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Knights of Columbus, St. Boniface Council No. 8863 service at the funeral home Thursday at 6:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church, Zurich, Friday, February 1, 2008 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Father Peter Poel Celebrant. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery, Bronson Line, Zurich. If desired, memorial donations to Saint Elizabeth Health Care or Bereaved Families of Ontario would be appreciated. Paul made a career of 37 years as an I.C.I. Plumber with W. Bestard Mechanical in London. His second career began in retirement, buying and restoring antique tractors, windmills, sawmills, chainsaws and radios.
