Obituary of John Joseph Ramsay

RAMSAY: At London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital, Saturday, November 15, 2008, John Joseph AJack@ Ramsay of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, formerly of Mississauga, age 88. Beloved husband of the late Hilda Margaret (Cook) Ramsay. Loved father of Lee Ramsay, Ian Ramsay and Charles Ramsay all of Toronto. Dear long-time companion and friend of Yvonne Hale of Grand Bend. Loving uncle of Alice Shackleton of Richmond, England, John Fagg of Cambridge and Patricia Smith of Mississauga. Remembered by his cousin Dr. Charles Sheard of Long Island, New York. Predeceased by his son Alan Ramsay and sister Betty Fagg. Cremation. A Memorial Service will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 11 a.m. (Visitation 1 hour prior to service). Tracey Whitson-Bahro officiating. If desired, memorial donations to The Council of Canadians would be appreciated. Jack served with the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps during WWII.
