Obituary of Alfons Goovaerts

GOOVAERTS: Peacefully, at London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital, Monday, March 31, 2008, Alfons Goovaerts, of RR 2, Grand Bend, age 68. Loved father of Kelly Insley (Allen) and Tracy Goovaerts-Welten. Loving grandpa of Brian, Gregory and Matthew. Dear brother of Louis Goovaerts of London. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his sister Elza Ruston and husband Keith, parents Maria Teresa (Van Hove) (1990) and Frans Medard Goovaerts (1973). A Memorial Service will be held at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, Sunday, April 6, 2008 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Father Peter Poel Officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Alhambra Hall, 10080 Klondyke Road, Grand Bend following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
