Obituary of Harold Henry Stire

STIRE: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Thursday, January 27, 2011, Harold Henry Stire, of Dashwood, age 88. Beloved husband of E. Ruth (Bucknell) Stire. Loved father and father-in-law of Bev and Stewart Brown of RR 3, Parkhill, Larry Stire of Dashwood, Mark Stire and companion Kathy Russell, Sandra and Victor Volochkov all of Grand Bend. Loving grandfather of Jacquee and Kris Leppington, Dean and Jane Brown, Nathan Brown, Nicholas and Courtney Stire, Sarah and Jason Keller, Mellissa and Mark Bruner, Amanda Stire, Jocelyn Stire and companion Pat, Steve Stire, Scott Stire, Bryson Volochkov, Nicole Volochkov and great-grandfather of Brayden Leppington, Keaton Brown, Braedon Stire, Ashley Keller, Kayden Keller, Zachary Stire and Taylor Bruner. Dear brother-in-law of Don and Ruth Bucknell of Salford. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his daughter-in-law Tracey (Hedden) Stire, sisters and brothers-in-law Alice and Gerd Muller, Elda and John Barr, parents Ed and Ida (Becker) Stire. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Dashwood, Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 11 a.m. The Rev. John E. Trembulak III officiating. Spring interment Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Harold was a long time member of the Dashwood Fire Department and served as Fire Chief for many years.
