Obituary of Elgin Albert Hendrick

HENDRICK: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, Monday, January 10, 2011, Elgin Albert Hendrick, of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend, age 79. Beloved husband of Patricia “Pat” Anne (Mitchell) Hendrick. Loved father and father-in-law of Peter and Charie Hendrick of RR 1, Dashwood, Kim and Ken Pinder of Exeter. Loving grandpa of Kristy Pinder and Karly Pinder, both of Toronto and Kelsey Pinder of Exeter. Dear brother and brother-in-law of John and Ruth Hendrick of Grand Bend, Emil and Pat Hendrick of Exeter, Helen and Jerry Drysdale of RR 1, Dashwood and Eleanor Hendrick of Exeter. Remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his brother Hugh Hendrick, parents Samuel and Florence (Turnbull) Hendrick. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Wednesday, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. where the Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Harry Disher officiating. Interment Grand Bend Cemetery. Elgin was a life time farmer and insurance agent with Hay Mutual Insurance Company for many years.
