Obituary of Errol John Aveling

AVELING Errol: Peacefully, at his residence, surrounded by the love of his family, after a long battle with cancer, on Thursday, June 12, 2025, Errol John Aveling of Grand Bend, age 87. Beloved soulmate of Dora Janis (Mathieson) Aveling for over 40 years. Loved father and step-father to 6 children.  Remembered by his brother-in-law Marvin Childs. Predeceased by his parents William Haig and Joan (Rawlingson) Aveling and sister Lynne Childs. At Errol’s request cremation has taken place. No formal services will be held. Errol was a Petty Officer Navigator with the Canadian Naval Air.  Arrangements entrusted to T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. Memorial donations to Cancer Society or charity of your choice.
