Obituary of Joseph Claude Leroux

LEROUX: Unexpectedly but peacefully, at his residence, Thursday, May 7, 2009, Claude Leroux, of Burlington, formerly of Grand Bend (Turnbull’s Grove), Goderich and Exeter, age 84. Beloved husband of Jacqueline “Jackie” (Valley) Leroux. Loved father and father-in-law of Don and Donna Leroux of Waterdown, Joanne and David Lapointe of Burlington, Robert Leroux and his companion Joanne Desjardins of Windsor. Loving Papa of Yvette and her companion Cory, Justin and his companion Angela, and youngest grandchild Michelle. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Jacques and Gertrude Leroux of Cornwall, Robert and Lillianne Valley and Dorothy Valley, all of Quebec. Remembered by his nieces, nephews, their families and will be missed by his pet dog “Bijoux”. Predeceased by his sisters Annette Villeneuve, Georgette Provost and brother John Leroux. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Sunday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers at the funeral home Sunday at 3:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Grand Bend, Monday, May 11, 2009 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Father Thomas Donohue Celebrant. Interment Pinery Cemetery, Grand Bend. If desired, memorial donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated. Claude and Jackie had been married for over 56 years. He was retired from Ford Motor Company of Oakville.
